Defense, Respect, Honor Fettinger Karate Academy, is a
member of the Shorinji Goshin Do Kyokai. Instructor;
James
Fettinger.
(fourth degree black belt) Shorinji Goshin Do means: (Shaolin, self defense, way). Kyokai means (association), and incorporates; Okinawan Karate (empty hand), and Japanese Aki-Jutsu (harmonious-fighting art). The Longest continuously operating club in the association, since 1994, is the Fettinger Karate Academy. Students are taught in small select classes, can learn only for fitness and Defense, or also be tested through Belt rankings. They are trained to strengthen weak points, and Utilize their natural abilities to strive to be the best they can be. Fettinger Karate Academy is a private organization dedicated to the preservation of the traditional "friends & family" method of passing down martial knowledge: Free classes are now offered to the public at the (PAL.) Huntington Police Athletic league, every Saturday from 11 am to 12 noon. Classes are free and under no obligation other than the honorable agreement of the Teachers to do there best effort in teaching if the student dose there best effort to learn. Classes at the P.A.L. are they the only classes open to the public. This web page and workouts not held at the P.A.L. are intended for the private use of "friends & family" only.
